first i would like o say i love my 07 uly.i ride it every day for he last 1.5 years .i has 36k on it right now and again it is in the shop .yes it has warranty.but it seams to live there.my dealership is good and rally treat me fair.they even overnight parts to keep it running.it has been towed 3 times .the first thing that went wrong was a computer with a bad cuircuit board witch was intermitant.but after alityle search and wiggle testing wires i found i and was able to show the tech.next was he fan shorted out repaired under warrenty.next the steering would shake vilently on decell steering head bearings were replaced.next was the oil cooler hose started leaking took it be the dealer they ordered a cooler on the way home the fitting split blew oil all over me and the bike.replace the cooler problem solved .then ringhome on night 70 or so miles an hour rear wheel bearing blew had them checked a couple of hundred miles before towed in again .then the bigstuff. was changing my oil after returning from thr dealer and purchaceing factory oil .and there was brass the oil and filter looked like gold .called the dealer ws advised to bring it in they cut the new filer apart and it to was full of brass .they called buell and i got a new complete engine at 19000 miles .took about 2 weeks and i was riding again .all good for about 6 months about 27,000 miles started using oil at first 1 qt every 1000 than a qt every 700 or so .took it back they ran some tests and rebuilt the top end and replaced some broken lathches on my cases that seem to snap when it gets cold 4 sets i think.got he bike back and made 1000. mile trip and lost another wheel bearing. and still using oil and the valve in the muffler started sticking and sqeeking that o was replace and the engine gone through again they found loose valve guides on the rear head so nw rings guides and seals.picked the bike up this january road it 1356miles broke down in trafic charging system went out bike just quit no warning pulled over cheched the simple stuff and the oil no oil in the on the stick at all aready put oil in after the nw overhaul 1.5 qts in 1300 miles .now back in the shop torn down again no fl. lemon law no help no bike factory says be pactient this sucks missed daytona miss a camp out had th borrow a car to get to work | ||

well another new engine on the way seems.i guess no bad other than the wait the bike has been down now going on 4 weeks .they say 5 to 10 buisiness days to ship. acouple of days for install and testing. the dealer has to put the first 200 miles on it than i have to put 500 on i and take it back to them for inspection. | ||

that sucks, did you buy the extended warrenty, I've bought bad bikes from other brands that cut ties the day the warrenty runs out | ||

yea i have extened warr. and a really good dealer and i do love the bike even though i have had everything replaced for mufflers to head bearings to wheel bearings stater reg.two top ends 1 complete engine now another engine.this time its been down for a month .i want my bike back | ||

new up date just called customer service again my engine is not even built yet .2 fridays ago i spoke to them and it was on the highest priority .guess that doesntcount for shit ooops they forgot icalled the dealer i guess they were expecting it by now so they called tech service .oooops they forgot about it but its on the highest priority ive been able to ride the the bike about 3 weeks since nov.it was down all xmas into jan for a top end .now down for a engine now f-in wonder piese of crap harly is stuggling | ||

that really is amazing to me. If I lived in FL and they pulled this crap I would have caught a plane to WIS and done some explainin to some people along with giving them a bill. | ||

well my engine came in finnally on wed. went by the dealer today 'go figure 70 deg sunny open house and bike show big shindig.and my bike is on he rack he guys at pcola harly are great they should have me up and running soon .they took me back showed me my old engine. there was a pretty good amount of oil in the front head i hope this new engine takes care of the problem . | ||

still waiting maybe i will ride again in april or may .never had a complaint when buell was buell hpefully harly will get bought by the chinese maybe hey can get shit done |
