I have never gotten along with the 07 seat on my 06. I always slide up on the air box cover, it hurts after an hour and there is this hard spot in the middle wish just rubs me wrong so I sent it off to Spencers Motorcycle seat mods. For $90 he flatten it out and put in this hi tech honeycomb foam in it. His service is great, 48 hour turn around. I will not know how well it works for a while since I really do not like riding when the temp is under 30. But from a short ride it feels good, softer then stock we shall see. No photos, it looks just like the stock seat only the foam was changed. http://greatdaytoride.com/Home_Page.php |

I'm real curious how it works out for you. Considering having mine done. Butt and lower back get a little sore after a few hours in the saddle on my 06 with stock hight seat. |

Hi, I tried for over a year to get Spenser at greatdaytoride to respond to my four or five emails and couple of telephone calls. I then searched the web and saw that others had the same issue. I gave up after the last attempt last Fall. How did you get in contact with him? |

I just sent him an E-Mail, I got a reply same evening. He has done a few Uly seats and has standard mod that he does. Though a friend of mine had the same experience as you did. He went with Sergeant to redo his Uly seat and is very happy with it. Maybe when he has a lot of work he just ignores his e-mail. |

XPS Racing in Florida does good work. I believe they have done a Uly before. I am thinking about using them when I get ready for a re-do |

Where is XPS Racing? I've considered Sargent up in Jacksonville (2 hrs away) but if XPS is closer to me, I'd go talk to them. |

I had Spencer rework my '06 Low seat that was on my '06 Uly. When I traded the '06 in on the '08 XT, I kept the seat and had it recovered to match the Racing Red Plastics. It now looks really good and feels really good, as well. I like Spencer's work, and he has excellent prices. (Wachusett Seat Covers does some nice work, as well)
