On my '08 uly, I'm on my 3rd battery. (39,000 miles) The last few times, the battery would clearly become weak and would strain to start the bike. How ever the Dealer says the battery "tests" good. So no warranty replacement. But when I spend the money out of pocket for a new battery, all is well for 6 or 7 months and I get to do it all over. Any pro's or cons on an "Oddesy" or other premium brand of battery? At least they have a 2 year warranty. And yes, All positive and ground connections and connectors are well serviced, clean, de-oxidized, and secure. Dealer warranted first battery (even though it tested good) and damaged teeth on clutch basket due to poor starting issues. Starter and charging syst is perfect per dealer. |

Your problem isn't the battery. Yes it is possible you had one bad battery, but 3? No. Take it to Autozone and have it load tested. They will tell you it is good. Anyway, most of the aftermarket batteries are crap and cost about the same as the HD one. I have heard good about the Odyssey, and that would be my pick if you were in a pinch. |
