Well i received and installed the xb12 airbox top on my 9s (thanks again brian) I have to say i am very impressed with the differance in performance for the price, it was definatly noticeable. On another note, i was listening to the bike run and i hear what sounds like the timing chain rattling a little, maybe im just being paranoid but has anyone else noticed a kinda of pronounced kind of constant rattling sound, or is it just an inherent sound of the motor |

Don't freak, when I gutted the airbox on my M2, I could suddenly hear the intake valves. |

I have to say I think the 12 lid and snorkel removal have to be the 2 "best bang for you buck" upgrades going. $35.00 gets you the intake growl that you'll never get out of an I-4. As far as HP gains if it is only 1-2 HP they are the meanest little bastards goin' |

Yea now that you mention it i think it might be the ticking of the valves im hearing, I had already removed the snorkel, but man did the intake growl get louder when i put the 12 lid on My likes it like |

I noticed it big time after I put the airbox cover on. It just sounded different, I knew that it had to be that airbox cover and didn't pay much attention to it though. I have to say it helped quite a bit as well. The bike doesn't seem to stumble near as much at low revs. I am very glad I sprung for this. Now if I could just get Force to get me a new pipe. |
