To answer your question is a tad difficult 420. No shitting no screwing around no yanking your chain. Trojan's claim is 89.5BHP with an exhaust system. Some others have claimed the same with just the 12 airbox the K&N and an exhaust. Its like the deal with the CVVS. Many people around here have seen dyno reports come out skewed to make it sound like that one part alone made the difference when its the combination of parts used that made the difference. That one part by itself may not produce the power increase. I don't know if anyone has actually asked Trojan for the dyno sheets. What was the baseline of the motor they dynoed? Was it 79BHP with a 10.5BHP increase? Or was the motor baseline 84.5BHP with a 5BHP increase? Also...what was the "tuned" muffler? Where does the increase fall? Top end? Bottom End? Is it a useable increase? Do you have to run at the rev limiter to realise the gain? It is those types of questions people here have asked to have answered only to either be ignored or given numbers that just don't mesh with the claims they made. Granted alot of people on this board jump all over it, why? because they feel like they have been burnt by false claims and feel its better to just demand the dyno sheets straight away to get to the long and short of the equation. If you read through the ranting and actually read the information that is posted you will find useful stuff. ____________________________________________________ Granted, I can be an asshole. But when you as a new poster pop in and just spout off, you leave yourself open to being popped back and not taken seriously. Think about your posts. Think about the questions you want answered. Look at the info the manufacturer is giving you, and look at what people are actually saying. Its like the running joke about your speedo. You thought that we were telling you your speedo didn't say 140. We didn't, instead we were telling you that even though the speedo said 140, if the cop sitting on the rise nailed you with his radar he would be writing you up for less. My first about your speedo was true, but you blew it off, acted like I was dissing you. I was just letting you know what was shown with accurate timing gear. Just chill down, post like an adult and not some punk kid who thinks he is on AOL messenger with his homies. You will find people will not tag you as much. |

LOL @ Court My Blast can do 140, too. I swear. It's got a 9-speed transmission w/4 overdrive gears, is bored to 1000ccs (who needs a crank balancer?), has one of Corey's unobtanium XB heads, Formula One racer valves, a home-built FI system, and a parachute brake from a dragster. Don't believe me? Ask Glitch for a picture. |

Took me a while to dig it up from last summer's drag races. I think we'll have the tuning finished by the weekend. We're just trying to get rid of this flat spot.

Knew I could count on you, Glitch - I'm at work, didn't have access to my pictures - they're all on the home PC. Tell me about it. I can't tell you how annoying it is to hit that little dip at 5500 RPMs. I mean, come on...these things are supposed to be torque monsters! 94ft/lbs is just NOT ENOUGH. Oh, did I mention (although you can tell from the photograph) that it still uses a stock set of wheels, pulley, and belt? |

420...I don't post very much on here, but I read every day. You don't bring anything to the Badweb. Please leave. You have a lot of anger at someone and seem to want to point it at people you don't even know. Go back to your own life and find a different site for pissing contests. |

Why do I sometimes get the feeling that I'm sitting in a pool hall and listening to people yell at the guy who left 20 minutes ago. Oh well. |
