My friend and I will be there this afternoon, showing support for our beloved Buell Ulysses! I will have on a Buell cap, in case you see me there.

I plan to be there. Not that I would expect any of you to know me. I've met Ratbuell before. I have been down to the Frederick dealer several times (my bike even came from there) but I don't really expect him to remember me. If anybody wants to meet up, PM me for my number. |

I was going to go today, but the bikes won't start. They haven't been run in almost 2 months, unfortunately. I tried jumping them with my car, then tried bump-starting down the hill no go. The Uly struggles to turn over, pumps a few times, then nothing but clicks. The Harley does a bit better, but just won't catch. Both batteries test at 12V. This is really depressing. Maybe it's the summer weight oil? I'm going to do a bit of searching on here for advice. So depressing - the first truly ride-worthy weekend in weeks. |

Hey Matt... I know your quote man! Got it on one of my old CMJ cd's. I loved that tune! Love when the drums kick in. Nice bike! (probably not going show) |

Just got back from Battley HD...picked up a Buell backback/Triple Tail bag. They have several more, only $50 (over 50% off). Picked up my spare belt too. They still have the same poor Buells on the floor...mostly non-Uly XBs, a TT, a blue Uly X, and a Blast. No 1125s. Makes me sad. |

Hooper - can't bump-start an EFI bike, the injectors aren't firing The two key words are: Battery Tender. My 06 Uly is still going strong on it's factory battery! Matt - I remember. Did they/we get that oil leak taken care of? |

Yeah, it was taken care of at Williamsport. Am I right that they are an extension of your dealership? I bought the bike there and they trucked it from Frederick because Williamsport is a few miles closer for me. The leak was caused by porosity in the oil pump housing casting. Whenever there was oil pressure, it would force its way through. So far, I am very happy with the customer service from both of your operations. As for the IMS show, I didn't get to make it down this year as I had hoped. Anything new worth seeing? |

I was there yesterday. Met one of the guys on this site with his wife, but can't remember his name for the life of me. I know he was from Springfield, VA. We were all checking out the XR-1200. The only Harley worth looking at-IMHO. The Ducati Multistrada is awesome. Triumph Tiger is very nice also. The new Honda VFR was getting alot of attention. Had to wait in line to sit on it. There were a bunch of companies not there again this year. BMW, Aprilia, KTM, and Ural to name a few. It was depressing not to see the Buell display. I used to love how they displayed their bikes practically laying on their sides. It is still a very good show. BTW- The Ducati stunt team was there, and put on a cool show worth seeing. |

Just got back from the show and I hate to say but I only saw one other person wearing Buell gear I had my Buell cap on and only comment I got was from the Condor M/C wheel chock guy asking me what Buell I rode. There were some real nice bikes there. |

Seems like we as a bunch should wear our Buell swag to any major gathering of the Clans. |

The wheel chock guy still use the white S2 for a display bike? The interesting thing - at least to me - is the VIN of that white S2:
VIN 1316 - only 3 bikes after my S2... As for me, I lost interest in attending the IMS show once Buell would not be represented as a manufacturer. 1313 |

Indeed, a new battery tender did the trick...the Uly started right up after an evening of trickle-charging. Did 100+ miles yesterday - great day! |
