I just purchased a 2009 1125R so I need to sell my 2005 Buell Lightning XB9SX City X that I've owned for 4 years. It has low miles, only 3639 and has many upgrades. This motorcycle is garage kept and has never been laid down. It's in excellent shape. I can also email pictures if needed. I added a low seat ($200) and Micron exhaust (over $1000). Also, did the custom tail eliminator and added LED brake light with integrated turn signals. I added micro LED turn signals on the front and removed the original equipment mirrors but still have them, they will go with the bike. Headlight modification done, so the low beam stays on with the high beam, but can also be used the original way too (low beam only). Added Buell traction hand grips and rerouted breather tubes with filter. Also included is an extra set of fairing (fly screen, air box cover and front fender). The bike can be blue or yellow, very cool. Open air box modification done to improve airflow and performance. I'm asking $5099 Nashville, TN Bike is a 9 on a scale of 1-10 Thanks! This is exactly the bike I want to either replace my Blast or go with but I can't afford it without taking out a loan  That and I'd have to ship it from Nashville. Very nice looking bike. Question on the yellow plastics, are they from the same year or lesser year? The latest Lighting I've seen w/ factory yellow was 2003. Did they make other years as yellow from the factory? | ||

Sorry to hijack the thread but a Firebolt plastic will fit on a Lightning? What about the windscreen? Was that just painted to match? | ||

yes and no, the tank cover and front fenders will work but the windscreen doesn't. Also you would have to find the tail section for the firebolt as the lightning don't have them. | ||

Hey guys, thanks for replies. Not many bites on bike, guess it's all the snow....lol. Not really in rush to sell just looking for a good home. With all the upgrades I think I have it priced really fair. As far as the plastics, got them off eBay after I got bike think they came off 2003, not painted molded yellow. Would I be willing to part with just plastics, yeah I guess, if price is right I was just throwing them in cause I can't use them with 1125 anyway.
