Chain tensioners actually look like skateboard wheels, whether they are or that one actually is, I dont know. But its the next best thing to a belt! | ||

I agree Johnny, I like the wheel. I used to skateboard when I was younger (I even got arrested for it and had to go to court when I was 12!) They print graphics on skateboard wheels and some of them are really cool. It could be another way to personalize your bike by picking out a cool lookin wheel to put on there. | ||

I've often thought of those for axle sliders on a Blast - if racing, or to be different, I'd just get Black though. Probably do it, just a matter of time. A secondary purpose would allow for easy lifting by one of those universal jack stands. Good for everything but tires - lol - still something like that could save a lot on damage in a spill or drop, include bar ends any type, inc. mirrors, weights, etc. Some threaded rod 2', a couple pairs of wheels, 4 lock nuts,8 washers, and blue locktite. Thanks a lot guys. Tail wasn't too hard to mod. Trimmed subframe a little bit and took angle grinder to a couple other spots, pretty much slid right on. Couple sets of bolts and bam. Ill try and get some shots of the work up in the next couple days. | ||

I've seen a trimmed version of the XB Fairing though that looked tight and that would really work in looks - I think there are several XB's running that look. One guy had his bike military green with cut down fairing and silver stars - perhaps asking who on the quick board will probably draw a few pictures posted. | ||

Hi Blasters! I have been playing with my wife's Blast a bit. She and I are of the larger persuasion, and I want her to experience the Uly ride for herself, but she cannot touch either foot on the ground on my Uly. She tried SCG's for seating and could only get one toe down, she didn't like that idea, but on her blast all was good except for longer distance rides. Usually 150 miles and she was done for a couple of days. Well here is how it is thus far, and I can tell you, I went out to test ride it around the block at 8:00 last night at 45F. Fifty miles later I finally got back!         I like this ride. At 58 miles per hour the engine smooths out and it is so good! Uly seats rule! Orangeulius, a fellow Uly BadWeB'r, has officially dubbed it the "Blastulys". | ||

Wow, Vern! That looks awesome! Can you post some pics of the mounting system you had to add and pics of it with the seat off so we can see the details of it all? How much did it cost to make the conversion? Both you and Subvert have done some amazing things with your Blasts!  Johnny |
