Pete, bike looks good. Thanks for the pic; I've wondered what the white with black fairings would look like. |

Petebueller - I think paint them white with black details, would look very cool. Kind of an AMA pace bike in reverse. Court - will do. Once the panels are on I hope to take some good pics of the bike down by the beach or something. |

If the graphics are decals do the fitting instructions include the part numbers for them ? |

Unfortunately the fitting instructions in the box were the standard instructions with no mention of the decals or associated part numbers |

I've been waiting all week for the rain to stop so I could put the roof on the garage and fit the fairing panels... Finally decided I was just going to get wet! I'll get some more pics tomorrow in the daylight, but a quick peek:

looks good, if the decal isn't available in the states, I may try to buy the whole fairing Australia and have it shipped to the states. Do you have any recommendations for who I should contact? I know you got yours "on the house," but do you have any pricing information on the Aussie fairings? Thanks |

one of the guys out here in OZ is selling his Aussie fairings on ebay ... search for buell fairings ... on ebay.com.au or check the link if it works .. I would get them if I could get them to fit the CR http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Buell-1125R-Fairing_W0QQite mZ130356294504QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Motorcycle_Par ts_Accessories?hash=item1e59d73368 |

447 dollars US for the BUY IT NOW they quoted me 150Aussie for shipping to the US... I think for that much i'll just take my fairings to a vinyl shop and have the copy the design... its gotta be cheaper than 600.00 |

I paid AU$853 for my fairing sides - standard without decals. There seems to be a fair markup on accessories here |

PB, that black and white looks real nice!! Lemon, I would definitely rock those fairings, very subtle but adds so much to the stock look. Does anyone know what that pipe is in the ebay ad????? |

Honestly i think if we could get one of our Aussie conterparts, that has these fairings, to take some wax paper and trace the deacl as far as size and the hole cut. i could get that trace and take it to a vinyl shop with the pics we have and have these duplicated... maybe with a R instead of RS since the US never saw a RS version... |

Just need to get HUGE carry-on bags for Lemonchili and Vampress. How big are the overhead compartments anyway? |

Avalaugh, I bought them as spares for mine. I have a different exhaust going on which might hit them, so I bought a second set to cut holes into if needed. However, if you REALLY want them, I have not paid for them yet and will contact the seller to see if he is willing to sell them to you instead. I bought them with the buy now option of $500(AUD) though. Can you let me know asap if you do? -------- Edit. Next day. Sorry, seller requested payment so offer is no longer available. Looks like I'll be in Sydney and Melbourne for February and March. Any advice on renting a motorcycle? I might even do a two month buy and sell if the used market is active enough. |

Ed Garner in Melbourne city rents bikes. He races a tuber but I haven't seen any Buells to rent if that's what you want. Plenty of other choices. We're off to Tasmania for Buell Muster 2010 in the first week of March if that interests you and if you can get time off. |

We're off to Tasmania for Buell Muster 2010 in the first week of March if that interests you and if you can get time off. I could make it out there for the weekend of March 6-7. Even if I can't find a bike to ride, I'm down for some beers with Buellers. Or are you called "Buellies" in Australia? |

We're Buellers for sure. I'd like to catch up with you while you are here, but I think 6-7 I will be at the Buell Muster. I live in Melbourne and the Buellers on the way to Muster will meet in Melbourne to catch the ferry on the 2nd of March. There are also heaps of Buellers in Sydney who you could probably teach to drink beer, and we have the Buell Riders Australia Club in Melbourne. I think the superbikes are on the last week of Feb at Phillip Island as well. There is usually a Buell Riders group who goes to that. PM me when you know details, and we'll sort out a few people and places. Pete |
