A $400 Vita-Mix blender and, best of all, a visit from my son just back (permanently) from a nice 6 mo. all-expense-paid "vacation" in Iraq. (Message edited by ronmold on January 01, 2010) |

> A hard drive containing the ENTIRE SET of ALL TEN SEASONS of...MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000!!! Laboriously torrented by my oldest son over the last month or so. You know that's illegal, right? Maybe not something to brag about. :P Personally, I got a goat. I bought my parents a llama. My family decided we have enough "stuff" to last us for a while, and we didn't want anyone to stress out spending too much money on gifts in these hard times, so we just donated to Heifer International in each others' names instead. It's a cool system. They give the animal of your choice to a family in need and train them to use it. In return, the family donates part of what they animal produces back to their community. |
