Still the Buell stuff is good quality (I've had the saddle & tail bags for a couple of seasons) and there may be some deals out there right now. |

I'll never knowingly buy anything made in China. Down side is I have to search forever on internet to buy stuff. I care more about keeping jobs in the US/Canada than buying something cheap made in China. |

Thats great and all, except its impossible. If the component is made in the states, it probably contains Chinese materials. Look at the wheels on your XB some time. Just because something is made in China doesn't mean its junk or cheaply made. Hell its next to impossible to make many things in America these days due to government regulations |

I don't know why you put this up. When I buy aftermarket items I'm not buying Chinese. I know that when you buy a bike/car/truck that parts come from around the world. But I have the choice when it comes to aftermarket and I'm not purchasing Chinese, so why do you put this picture up? Are you trying to convince me to buy a Buell accessory made in China. It will never, happen! Let me convey this to you I am buying American made parts and accessories when they are available. Impossible you say? I'll disagree 100%. True some items (electronics) are near impossible. But I am talking about motorcycle luggage. I'll support an American family run business making quality luggage and you can go enjoy your Chinese made luggage. I'm happy your happy. Every aftermarket part I have purchased has been made outside of China. All but two items UK/Italy have been made by fellow Americans. |

Because you said "I'll never knowingly buy anything made in China". Well you just bought a pair of rims among other things that were made in China. Most of the Buell accessories are made in China, and some are nicer than some American made equivalents. I usually will buy the best, regardless of were it comes from. If it comes from the states, then great, if not then whatever. Take a look at my bike sometime, its got Italian mirrors, German hard bags, Japanese brake cylinder, American light bar, and Chinese under seat baggie. Just curious, what motorcycle soft luggage is made in the states? Even the Aerostitch bags are made in China. I haven't seen them in real life so I don't know how good they are, but I doubt it is as nice as their American made suits, which I own one of. |
