I give up and I am cold. Will somebody please give me directions to the auxiliary power connector? Perhaps even post a photo? Many Thanks. |

Pull the fairing off - First disconnect the turn signal wires, they run down the fairing stays on each side. 10mm wrench will get the mirror nuts. Then pull the T-30 Torx on each side at the bottom. With the fairing off, look for the Accy plug - it will have a dummy terminator in it. Remove the dummy and plug in your grips/gear. Thanks for serving! Stay warm Zack |

It's usually under the I/C /headlight. Here is a little clearer picture of what the connector looks like:

Anyone know the part number of the pins that would go in there once you remove those rubber plugs? Nevermind, found it in another thread. Thanks 73190-96 (the terminals) 72099-06 (the wire seal) (Message edited by xnoahx on December 17, 2009) |

FYI: The aux power connector is only powered when the engine is actually running.... |

No, its only powered when the kill switch is set to on and you have sufficient voltage, whether the engine is running or not. |

Is this on all the 1125's inc early '08's ? |

Actually the kill switch has to be on, the ignition on and the engine started. Once the system sees proper voltage then it energizes the accy. plug. The system will cut power to the accy plug if voltage drops too low. All 1125's have accy plug. |
