does any one know how hard is to replace the gasket. the dealership wants like 400 bones to do it

You need to rotate the motor, that is 90% of the labor there.

Its not that bad... I just did it on my TT.

Change the plugs while you are in there...

yea it looks like a pain in the arse to get it off b\c of the frame being so close

Its not that bad once you have rotated the motor down.
Just get the service manual... read the sections needed to get the job done and have at it.
Get it done now while its cold....

just ordered a service manual, when you say (rotate) do you mean actully droping the motor out of the frame on to the ground to work on it

no... well... kinda.

You are gonna unhook everything on the front of the motor.
Then you will let it rotate down on the rear engine mount.
That will give you access to the rear jug so you can work on it.
