From eBay ad: This is an extremely rare motorcycle. Spondon is a custom racing and sport bike frame builder in England. They are leading edge technology. This motorcycle was originally built for and raced in the European Battle of the Twins. I bought it less the motor. Originally it had a XR1000 motor in it. Now it has a custom built by Johnson Motors Buell/Sportster motor with the following: S&S racing cases, Carrillo rods, Forged 1400cc pistons, Buell ported and polished head, custom cams, belt drive primary, custom gearbox, electronic ignition, etc. A very trick motor that puts out more power than an XR motor and gobs of torque. Chassis has been completely restored. Front forks have been all gone through. The forks were custom built for this bike by Works Performance. Has brand new $1400 Ohlin rear shock and spring custom built for this bike. Front has the original 6 piston calipers rebuilt and new wobbly rotors. Rear brake is new rotor and caliper. Wheels have been freshly powder coated, new wheels bearings, and new tires. New mastercylinder, new sprocket, new ignition. Has new fairing and windshield as per when it was raced. 95% of what you need to finish the bike is there, just takes time! To converit it to street use it has Buell controls and switch gear, and a Buell wiring loom. All new cables. This would make a show stopping trick bike when finish and one fast sport bike. Just no time or money left for me to finish it... Selling for a fraction of the cost of parts alone....
