I did similar when trying to sell my Suzuki GS500F. I left it at the intersection on the end of a busy road unlocked but no key. I kinda hoped it would be stolen, it would of gotten me more than its worth after I customized it by rear-ending a car. |

I wonder if his insurance company can legally deny a claim given these circumstances? He probably has a sign on it that says "rare, discontinued collectible Buell motorcycle". |

That is the most 'common' way to unload boats and jet ski's around the lake here. They get left by busy intersections, on trailers and unlocked, with big For Sale signs. |
