I tried almost every dealer in the UK to get the handlebar bag and under seat stow and go bag. Only found the stow and go on e bay and the stealer wanted over MSRP and about 3 times what postage should have been. Mentioned the problems I was having on an HD forum I go on and a friend in Nebraska who just happens to be friends with the owner of Frontier HD said he'd look out for me. Two days later Frontier have the stow and go and located the handlebar bag at Black Hills HD. Package arrived this morning. I'm glad I sent his wife some Belgian chocolates for Christmas now. Any idea on securing the handle bar bag in case some one decides they need it more than me ?

I got both about a month ago. Was glad to find the stow and go... there are not many of them left. Toura tech makes one for double the price. The outer pocket doesn't even fit my registration and insurance card... But at least it keeps some stuff secure inside so it doesn't fly around under the seat! The handle bar bag is great, especially for tolls and an ezpass! You should enjoy both... |

Zip ties or safety wire will stop most quick grab thieves. |

Thanks Rwcfrank I was leaning toward a small thin zip tie. I read elsewhere the Tourateck bag was poor quality. I'm just pleased I got hold of these because no UK dealers seem to have them apart from the stealer who wanted over $80 for the stow and go |

88b - I've had the handlebar bag on my Uly in Houston, Texas for going on three months. Theft is a problem here, but no one has ever even unzipped the bag much less try to take it. I guess it just isn't that noticeable. If you are really concerned about it, you could put a denim rivet through the strap into the back of the bag after you put it on the bar. You could also thread steel wire (like used to hang heavy pictures) through the bag and around the bar with a needle. With two looped ends on the thread, you could even secure it with a luggage lock (inside or outside of the bag) so that you can take the bag on and off easily if needed. |

I never heard that about the touratechs... I would have thought for the price they were better then the buell pieces. Buell/HD doesn't make any accessories like bags, or clothes/helmets. For all we know the touratechs may be the same as the Buell bags with different logo's. |
