That is what the paper work says from the dealer when I got it new. Is this ok it seems strong my buddy bike is from the same dealer and he swears my bike is stronger. I have no idea it seems like there is a zillion flashes for these mo fo's. |

That flash is from early 2008. I think it was the first "re-flash" I got. Z |

Your dealer has to hook up the bike to the digital technician and check for updates. If you got to, mention that you are having surging and low speed drivability issues. |

If it seems fine and runs strong, just go ride it dude. One of these days, say when you get the first or second service done, ask them to check the flash, but if it runs fine go ride the motorcycle. |

I personally saw quite a bit of difference in the 02Y original setup for the ECM to the first "re-flash" ,the 03Y, which I still currently run on my 2008 1125R. I have not been able to convince myself yet any later ones will be much better and eventually will go with an aftermarket flash and just maybe an EBR one if it indeed comes out as suggested as a possibility. Good things are coming. Bob |

Go for the latest flash. See "152 CR flash quantified" to see a dyno chart comparison from my own bike, pre-flash and post-flash. I didn't have any "problems" with the old flash...but the new one is sweeeeet. |
