Yeah I suck at badweb's search engine... but who doesnt... So is there a detailed tutorial somewhere about doing this mod? I am looking for exact dimensions/tips/risks etc... |

buy a spare, and follow the picture story. or you could find that guy (on another board, obviously, you found the thread) and ask him. i think that'd be your best bet |

"I have to question how much strength and rigidity you would be losing." None...probably gaining some. The area that is opened up is hollow from the factory, and it is beefed up with the pieces welded in around the perimeter. |

It most likely weights MORE after the mod because the inside is boxed in. |
