Just went into diagnostic mode to check AFVs and noticed FRT O2 SYS ERR, code P0132... while in there I also noticed TPS voltage at 1.5 So I did a TPS reset. NO CEL ever noticed. My question is how can I reset the code to see if it trips again? Not HD service I hope. I have a feeling the idle will be better when I ride home in a few hours. thanks, todd ps...ill check my service manual too! |

Just ride it and see what happens. Unless you have a tuner you would have to take it to a dealer to get the code removed. I am curious to what will happen. I have a California bike as well we have a Cat in the stock exhaust unlike the other 49 states. I dont know if this triggers something when removed. I have an aftermarket exhaust on order and I am going to attempt to install it this friday. All I was told was until it can get properly tuned. Dont buy a K&N filter or any high flow air filter until I get a tuner. Most people have had some luck just running it a few hundred miles and the ECM learns but I am thinking the bike may run lean. I am going to do a TPS reset after I install mine and just keep monitoring AFV's. (Message edited by freezerburn840 on November 23, 2009) |
