Purchased an 1125 CR last Friday. All my bikes have been Hondas (except for a little Hyosung V twin), but I loved the CR when it came out, and was finally able to afford one. It's just too bad that Buell had to go under, just when it seemed they had a real winner in this bike. |

remember this one thing and do not let someone else ever make the same mistake; BUELL DID NOT GO UNDER !!! They were killed by a jealous, tyrannical, short sighted and possibly fraudulent parent corporation for nothing more than a personal vendetta. congrats on the new bike BTW, welcome. |

No, Joebuell. I was agreeing with you. My choice of words was poor, as I know that Buell didn't go under, but was given the ax by HD. Although I had never ridden one before last week, I always liked the look of them (well, not the earlier ones, but the more recent designs). I was saddened when I heard they wouldn't be making any more Buells, especially since the motorcycle press seems to be raving over the new CR. |

Oh, I see it. sorry, I've been quite bitter since Black Thursday. Thought i'd be calmed down by now but it's getting worse. I'm not a recognized ambassador for this board but have been around long enough to state that you found the right place to learn about the greatest american motorcycle company. Again, congrats on a most excellent motorcycle. ride safe. BFFB |
