Who made it? Is it a heavy jacket? Any other thoughts on it? Any of you have one?

Dunno who made it, but the model name is Avolation. I've been looking for one in Medium for forever it seems. I'd love to have one. |

I saw one at a dealer a cpl of days ago, very nice jacket and probably a midweight jacket, definitely not light weight. I have no inside info but I am guessing Harley is having them made in China or Malaysia with their jackets, seem to be great quality I just can't get past the China part. |

Most the Buell jackets I have are marked MADE IN USA. It wasn't until Harley-Davidson Motorclothes took over and brought their budget constraints that Buell stuff was made in foreign countries. I am laughing at the load of shirts I got from the factory yesterday . . . . . it's all the new logo stuff and it's all marked MADE IN EGYPT. I guess it's safe to assume it REAL "Egyptian Cotton", eh? |

I have one. Yup, made in China. They made them in 2003. Fairly heavy, I added CE armor in the provided pockets (shoulders and elbows). It has fair/good ventilation and a light padding in the shoulders, elbows, collar bone and back. I stand by it and wear it in all weather conditions. Good luck finding one...I think if you do it will be used. |
