According to Buell's site (why didn't I think of this sooner?), the CR's wheelbase is 10 mm longer. Stability or belt geometry? That is the question. Oh to have the ear of a Buell engineer... |

Anyway back to the flash I bought my bike 10/21 anyway to tell if its got the new flash or does the dealer have to check and see? |

Anyone buying the bike and is familiar with Buells or just has it in there for service. Just remind them to check it out for you chances are they will not unless reminded to do so. (Message edited by freezerburn840 on November 10, 2009) |

AFAIK, there is no way to check within the bike, it has to be done through the Digital Tech at a dealership. |

And even when you ask them, they'll tell you it's the latest even though it's the 10Z and they don't know where to connect the computer to the bike. |

If you have ecmspy, then you can fetch the eeprom and tell by the firmware version. |
