Was out for a fast ride a few days back, bike really going nicely as normal when all of a sudden the engine dies. At the same time the dashboard goes blank as if the ignition has been turned off. Whilst cruising to a halt the dash then comes back on asking me to enter my pin again. I enter the pin but nothing happens. On the road side I remove the saddle and have a look for anything obvious but nothing can be seen. Does anyone have any pointers for me because I would like to find out what's loose and resolve it if possible. Currently the bike is running fine again as if nothing happened. |

You have a screw loose, literally! Check the connections at the battery first, then follow the cables checking for tightness along the way. Also check the bolted down grounds, there's one on the steering head that has my attention because of how exposed it is. Good luck and let us know what you find! |
