I checked one out recently.... I was wondering how these ended up breaking in? It feels kind of tall .Did it change the way you hit turns, I imagine it's great for long distance.. Even though everybody's different I'd like to know your experience... |

Its a fantastic seat. I got one on my 1125CR, and that seat alone made the bike more comfortable than my Ulysses. I recently did a 2700 mile round trip on my CR, and was be able to ride an entire 220 mile tank of gas without stopping. The material feels more slick than the stocker, allowing me to slide around better. I love it!

I like mine. But If your doing track days use your stock seat. You seat deeper in the bike. |

Wait! Sitting isn't a sport, why are you sitting? Hang off it! Jraice, coming around the turn you suddenly see the van and a dude taking the photos, it somehow always makes me stupid and screw up |

Looking good on the CR, thanks all for the input. So does that initial tall in the saddle feeling ever mellow out some? |

I never noticed any height issue. I did notice it raises me like an inch vs the stock seat, but coming from a Uly rider I never had any issues. |

That last pic was in NC, I recognize the signs. What part did you go through? |

2700 miles, with the return loop taking the blue ridge starting at Roanoke and taking it to the Skyway and taking that all the way to the end. http://tinyurl.com/yck6og5 Thats my return trip starting from Etennuly's place. As for getting there and the local riding, I would have to check my GPS. |

Great Seat. Definitely a must have. I don't know who thought up the stock seat, but it is a bit like sitting on a brick. |

Froggy: I have the exact same helmet... how do you like the X30? Love mine. Also, nice pics above... what happened to the right side scoop? |

I can't stand the thing. Noisy, cold air seeps in around the cracks, feels loose and unpadded, no easy way install my Scala Rider Q2 Bluetooth unit, and side to side visibility sucks. But the internal sun visor is nice, and it got me on the front page of killboy, so I forgive its sins. As for the pod, it makes a great shovel and scoops up rocks good when you dump it off roading. Here is a picture of it after I dumped it a second time

Oh, and here is Brumbear bleeding the clutch after doing a bar swap! This hydraulic clutch is fantastic, you need to give it a try some time

LOL... I live in Cali, we don't have cold air to seep inside of helmets around here rofl, and I wear ear plugs anyway (it doesn't seem louder than my RF1000 though...). If it feels loose, you probably ordered the wrong size, and I turn my head to see on the side anyway So what are you doing with the clubman? Sell them to me plz!!! I do wear earplugs but still find the noise to be excessive. It is the right size helmet, as I couldn't get into a small and a large I was swimming in. It fit great for the first few weeks then the padding decided it didn't want to do its job anymore. I was putting the clubman bars on! My bike came from the dealer with those piece of crap highbars. Who in their right mind would buy a CR and put upright bars on? They are so out of place on a cafe racer, they should trade in for a SCG or something if they want to go slow and keep their body up. |
