Hi all! I FINALLY got off the fence and bought a new 09 XB12SS. I have looked at the Buells for ever and after having pretty much everything else over the last 30 years, pulled the trigger. So far,the bike is as advertised and as a former lurker here, have tried to find some of the picks that are discussed here. If they come up, I'm sure I'll lean on you for advice. Anyway, great forum!

Me too! I picked up my 09 Cherry Bomb Red XB12Ss this evening and had a fun ride home despite the cold and dark.

Let the fun begin! Mine's ('06 Ss build #6) been absolutely solid going on 3 years. Start saving up for your next set of tires though you'll be burning through 'em soon.

congrats on the new bikes. hope you really enjoy them. just picked two more up this past weekend. they are a bit addictive imo.

It's a fun ride. I need to decide on a luggage solution, but a back pack is working for now.

I loved the ventura racks on my previous 'non-luggaged' bikes.

It'd probably be the best option for you.

I too got myself a 09 xb12ss at a yard sale price....whats a good exhaust mod for this bike? Im leaning torwards Special ops or VooDoo at this point . I really dont want something that is terribly loud .
