Does anyone know what the dimensions of the cr hibars are and if you can use any 1 1/8" bar in replacement of the stock ones ? | ||

Don't know the dimensions (width, rise, pullback). You probably could use other 1.125" bars, but you would have to drill them to position the switch gear. And they would lack the inner liner that the factory Magura-manufactured bars have (possibly to offset the structural compromise made by drilling them). It's not likely that you would find better quality and you sure would not find any others that are silk-screened to mark the position and rotation of the bar in the triple clamps and the clutch and brake lever clamps on the bars. Another point to consider: You'd need new throttle cables, brake and clutch lines. I don't know how they price out individually, but I would not be surprised if they cost a lot more individually and if one or more of them was on backorder. |
