Started the new bike for the first time this morning since the dealer rolled it (not running) into my garage on Saturday night. Although 3 MPH was less risky, I did discover that I can hit 4 MPH in my garage. ... This damn rain is killing me! It felt plenty strong up to 3-4 MPH, but I could tell it has a lot more in it And now my son has the flu. The riding gods are not being too kind so far. Gave me a chance to initial set up the suspension though. Mike |

It registers in reverse when you back it out, too! KeS |

My 08 R has about 350 miles on it, at least 150 of it was in the rain. |

You can go faster if you ride in circles... |

If it doesn't let up in the next couple of days, I might just test that 'not allergic to the rain' theory. Hopefully by then my little boy will be feeling better too - He's not asking for a ride yet, but he spends almost as much time looking at the bike as I do. He has good taste! Mike |

Finally got to take it out today ... I'm sold! I don't know if I grinned like an idiot the entire 67 miles, but I'd bet it was at least 65 of them. BTW, all three digits on the speedometer work - Doesn't take long to get there either! |
