The only correspondence here on improved wheels (2010 style), concerns only the rear. Did the front receive the same treatment (larger bearings and separate seals), as the rear wheel? Is anyone considering the front wheel as an upgrade, assuming that the larger bearings and seals are included? |

AFAIK there were no changes to the front wheel. The front bearings have never been a problem. |

Only the rear wheel has the new 3 bearing system. The front wheel had issues with black seal bearings back in 2003, so Buell changed suppliers and ran a upgrade program to get a free upgrade to the orange bearings. A little over a year ago, Buell switched bearings again, now they are black again. |

Never say never, I had to replace mine at 15,000 miles. And several others have replaced theirs also. My rears were going bad by 8500 miles, I replaced them at 11,000. |

One of the BWB sponsors has a whole kit for rear wheel with bearings installed. Anybody remember that company? |

You need the wheel which comes with bearings, seals, spacer and axle, and new bolts for the sprocket and the brake disk. Al will install the bearings and seals for $20 before he ships it to you. |

Okay, I'm pretty much planning to get this upgrade for my Uly, but am not planning to until February or March. I know that the press releases state such-and-such parts for so-many years, but will that include American Sport Bike's inventory? Guess I should just ask Al... |

I have a feeling American Sport Bike will have inventory LONG after your local dealership says "Uh, we can't get that any more". |

I think the BWB forum advertisers will be taken care of by BWB users...and they will be the strong parts houses. Froggy...I can't read that response...too bright. :-) |
