Just sold a bad web member my XB9SX 2006 with 2100 miles on it. Bike always started right up and ran well. Delivered it to him and he rode it. He took it home and started it again. Left it overnight then this morning he couldn't get it to start at all. Any notions on where to look? Want him to get it back up and going. |

Would it crank and not fire or not crank at all? Does he know the starting drill -- wait until the check engine light goes out, the gauges stop sweeping and the fuel pump stops priming and no touch the throttle while cranking? Anyhow, take a voltmeter check across the battery terminals before turning the key on. Should be approx 12.5 VDC. |
