I gave my Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen a try today and all I can say is wow what a difference. I found myself riding faster (not always a good thing) because I didn't feel the usual wind blast on my torso. I looked down at the speedo and realized I was doing about 95mph and it felt like 55mph. This thing might get me in trouble with the law. I'm about 5'-6" in height, and the new windscreen throws the air at the top of my helmet. No buffeting, just very laminar (might depend on the helmet design). If I do a slight tuck, it's erie quiet. It actually reminds me of the windscreen on my RS125 racebike that I used to race. To top this off, the bike is now averaging 39 mpg with the sport touring windscreen. It gained one mpg with the windscreen addition (freeway). Combining the FMF Apex, the Jardine Protune, and the Sport touring windscrreen, I picked up about 3-4 mpg without changing my riding style. Just sharing my experience. |

5'6" and you've got wind blast??? I'm 6'0" and don't think there is any wind blast. |

This is kind of funny. I was just thinking about ordering a touring windscreen and came across this post. I think it is going to be a must have by next spring. |
