I know there was talk awhile back but has anybody successfully put a uly tail on an 1125? If so how much did it run? | ||

There is no turnkey solution. Andros did a kickass job with a lightning tail, but it didn't look easy... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/493466.html?1256164638 Bottom line- two of the bolts will line up (ithink), but you gotta fab some bracketry for the other two. And get the undertail to miss the shock, which is offset on the 1125. The passenger pegs on the Uly are child assemblies of the frame, no provision on the tail like your stock subframe so you'd have to invent something if you ever wanted a pillion. Still, I'd love to see it done, or has it been and I wasn't lurking hard enough? -Nadz |
