I personally don't think we've seen the last of Erik. He is too motivated and a go getter for that. It's a no brainer that he is probably under the thumb of HD because they own the rights to the Buell company and name. In a perfect situation he'd be able to buy Buell back. Personally I see Erik starting a new company with a different name. Only thing that would stop that is a non-compete agreement b/t HD and Erik. Doesn't mean he can't be a very "involved" consultant to another bike company that uses a lot of Erik's concepts. Maybe even a collaboration of Bad Webber's that start the new Storm Motorcycle Company. Work it out Erik, we'll back ya. |
