price cut to ---- 3750 99 buell x1 lightning carbon fiber edition #215 clean title vin#4mzss11j7x3202600 CONTACT ME: JUSTIN EMAIL: SIGUY@HOTMAIL.COM PICTURES-----> http://www.buellforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t= 9945 MOTOR: -Buell Thunderstorm heads. NRHS stage 3 prep. 1.90 intake/1.625 exhaust valves. 15 deg squish. Extensive port work. New valves, guides, seals. Springs are for up to .650 lift. -1250 cylinder and piston kit. -Thunderstorm 15 deg. Wiseco pistons. 10.5:1 compression. -Screaming Eagle .536 cams. -V-thunder roller lifters. Brand new. -Adjustable pushrods. -procharger -dyno jet kit installed (200 main jet, 45 slow jet) (THIS WHOLE TOP END HAS BEEN DONE WITH NEW GASKETS AND HAS ONLY ABOUT 10 MINUTES IDLE TIME ON IT, NO RIDING.) went to go for my first ride and my drive belt snapped....battery was dead and didnt have a jumper so i was trying to pop start it.) THIS IS A CARBON FIBER EDITION. BUT....IT DOES NOT HAVE THE CARBON FIBER PARTS. the owner before me wrecked it and damaged the parts so there is now a white tank cover and white windscreen. i painted the front (which is still carbon fiber)flat black. same with the lower fairing. it was painted white but i am prepping it to be flat black. i bought this bike september 12 2009. rode it for an hour. the very next morning after a hour ride the motor blew. ran lean and blew a hole in the piston of the rear cylinder. thats the reason to now have the sweet motor that is in it now. will throw in a spare set of thunderstorm heads. they are lightly damaged from the melted piston but it is a few small divets in the combustion chamber. have 2 extra rear tires to throw in. BADS: 1. stock intake manifold with a homemade bracket for a carb. its ugly (owner before me made it) 2. running open header but previous owner decided to cut up the header and weld in parts of exhaust pipe. its ugly also. (so it needs a full exhaust.) 3. it has been dropped but can only tell because the rear subframe is scuffed on left side and directly over the tail light. (so im guessing it was flipped from a wheelie.) 4. it needs a drive belt. it snapped i guess from the pops starts. ive got too much money tied up in this bike. tired of dumping money into it. it has broke me. If you have NRHS stage 3 headwork your valve springs are rated for at least.600 lift not .550. |
