Buewulf I was the one who said the average rider just cares who one . I meant this in reguard as the average rider doesnt follow racing enough to know the 600cc 4cyl vs 1100cc twin contravercy. You do make a very valid point ( actually many in your responce ) that I myself didnt take in account was the riders self image amonst each other in a riding group. I like you have owned every major brand except Triumph ( and im tempted to one of those also but my garage wont hold any more bikes. But if Triumph does decide to make a 1000c triple, a piece of living room furniture will just have to go lol Jake |

"if Triumph does decide to make a 1000c triple, a piece of living room furniture will just have to go " lol! Furniture literally did go when I bought the Uly three weeks ago. We are closing on a house at the end of this month that has two more rooms than our old one. Those extra rooms will just have to stay empty for a few months! |

Well one thing is for certain I would have an interest in running a small dealership But JaimieC is correct especially for the tri-state area as the cost of business is uber high hear. You would need to sell watercraft/ scooters /dirt bikes/ snowmobiles/atv's and even generators and stuff to make ends meet unless you are a long time owner and own the property then you only have to deal with property taxes in the 10's of thousands. But in NJ i would not do well to compete with the likes of Bergan and Liberty so that dream is no more |

I don't think anyone in any of three or four different threads in the last couple of weeks has suggested trying to compete with the dealers that get it. But it seems in various parts of the country there is a lack of any let alone good dealers. |

And the rumor I just heard is that MY dealer, Nassau County Harley, just dropped the Buell line. I'm already bitching about this on the Quick Board so I won't bore anyone with that here. :-( |

I agree I am just a little let down as I would love to run a small franchise but I happen to live in an area where we have great Buell support. I could always move |
