Make sure you frequently replace the door latch mechanism. Bi-annual would be a good frequency. The latch mechanism will eventually bend and break thus not allowing you to open the bags. To open the bags you'd have to drill a hole in the top to actuate the rod mechanism. Don't even bother asking "how do you know?"...  | ||

Hmmmmmmmm $29.00 apiece x 2 x twice a year= $116.00..........no thanks. I broke one of mine, replaced it with the updated style and then tweaked the bellcrank control wires so both latches trip open at the same time. Now they open effortlessly. | ||

I'm talking about the fasteners that latch the bags to the frame. I think some of you are talking about the latch that opens the bag. | ||

Randy, I was replying to Sloppy's reply about the lid latches. The ones in Courts picture must be the earlier 91248-97Y pre '99 draw latches because they are supported on each side of the cam. The later/updated 91361-99Y is a better design in my opinion. | ||
