Thought I had these wrapped up, but after a week of waiting for payment I'm putting these back up for sale. Cables look the same as pictured except I had to use white heat shrink where the USB cable meets the wires from the connector. I did things this way because it will be easier to repair if a cable gets broken. Paypal $45 includes Priority mail shipping. Tested on my 2003 XB9R, boxed and ready to ship, I want these out of here so that I can get back to developing my next project. ECMspy and USB comm. port driver included. Said to work with EFI Buells from 2001 to 2007, but I can not verify this so check in the forums before buying. Service manual not included, it just seemed like a good background. Forgot to mention that I have 3 cables for sale. Shipping in the USA only, I'll think about Canada but I will put the actual price on the customs forms and may need to adjust the shipping price. | ||

It looks like I currently have 4 or 5 people for the remaining 2 cables. I will make more cables for people if they want after these run out, but I'll want half or all up front so that I don't run into the same issue as these last three. I should be able to build as many as I have people in line, but really only want to build at 4 or more each order or the shipping gets to be too much per part. I'll be ordering parts for another project by Saturday and would really like to get any more of these USB adapters at that time. If you are interested in getting the next batch, send me a PM and I'll send payment info of what I need to order the parts. Otherwise it will kind of be first come first served for the 2 cables I have left which includes one person who is working on setting up a Payal account and I'll give him 'til Wednesday to get that done. I'm not making any money off of these while buying small quantities so I can't really afford to stock a bunch of parts in the hopes that someone will buy them. | ||

Read the tuning guide. There is a lot more going on than I'm prepared to dive into and do at the moment. But it is good to back up the ECM and check for error codes and run through some of the other diagnostics. | ||

At this time all cables should be gone. If you want one and are willing to send payment in advance, I'll be ordering some other electronics this weekend and can order what I need to make more cables. Time table would be up to about 2 weeks from Saturday Oct 31 before I can get them in the mail. If you only want to pay part of the total up front, I need at least $20 to be able to order the USB adapter and of course the rest is due before shipping. Connectors have already been ordered because I need them for a different project. If I can not fulfill your order in that time table, I'll refund your money, but this is the only way a refund will happen, once the USB cable is ordered I have an expense and there will be no refund after that time. PM me with your email address and I'll send you a Paypal invoice that you can use even if you do not have a Paypal account (at least that is what they tell me) to pay with a credit card. The $45 includes priority shipping in the USA Canada may cost more and actual shipping will be added to the total. I am a Paypal verified member with more than a few sales (mostly non motorcycle items) backing me up. If you only want to put down the $20 make sure to specify that when you PM me. | ||

I was warned that I may be breaking a rule in these forums, so if you have already made arrangements with me for me to buy parts for a cable, I'll honor those. But otherwise there are no more available from me. This was not an official warning, but I can see where there could be an issue with the owners so there are no more except for the two or three that I have lined up (assuming I get the money by Saturday). And if I was breaking the rules I'll gladly share about 30% of my profits with the site, where can I mail the $2 and do you think it will actually make it through the postal system? I was never trying to make a large profit on these, just trying to help people get what they needed to keep their machines running. There are two or three guys selling cables on ebay (I'm not one of them) that can hopefully help you out. Good luck and this should be marked as closed and even deleted if I was breaking the rules. Sorry if I caused any trouble. |
