Ok, so I just installed a micron exhaust and a K&N on my 07 Xb12R. I hooked it up to ecmspy and burned in the fuel map from the ecmspy guide. After doing that, I went for a ride and noticed a few things. 1. When it's idling and I get on the throttle, there's a little delay before it revs. Kinda like its bogging for a split second. 2. When trying to cruise along in lower rpms, it acts like its missing very bad, and it forces me to get on the throttle. 3. Once it gets revved up, it runs fine and also runs alright when off the throttle. 4. Occasionally, when I'm trying to get it to cruise, it will make a popping sound that seems to be coming from somewhere around my air filter, like blowback or something. It seems to just be in the lower rpms that it doesn't run right. Can anyone help me out here. I can send you the maps that I'm currently running. It's my first Buell and I never had problems with my old bikes. Sorry if I sound like an idiot. I'm really not. ; ) Thanks. |

Did you do a TPS reset? |

Did you do just the map or the whole EEPROM? Also, I wouldn't use a random map I found off the internet, especially with a pipe that needs specific tuning like the Micron. Al @ American Sport Bike has a very nice Micron map that he can sell you, its amazing the difference it makes. Also do a TPS reset. |

Everyone will scold me.... , but try disabling the O2 sensor , its on one of the pages in ECM Spy , you click disable box , then burn . I had the same problem with mine and did this , and now it runs great . You do this at your own risk , but alot of tuners do it , just google "disable O2 sensor on sportbike" you will see they make kits for other bikes . Make sure your not running lean , use your head . |

Some of the issues you mentioned... pop in the intake... idle, open throttle, hesitation/stutter.... I have been told are just issues that are common and nothing to worry about with the XBs. I could be wrong. |
