I would just like to say thanks to all the people at High Country Buell/Harley for making my new 1125R purchase so enjoyable. If anyone in the Rocky Mountain region needs anything Buell I wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend them and anyone on their staff. These guy's don't just sell Buell but they all RIDE and RACE them as well. And I couldn't be happier with the great deal they gave. They have earned and will keep my business. I have owned Harley's new and this is my fourth Buell although the first owned since new. I am abolutely in love with this bike! Buell keeps getting better and better, although I could never part with my 96 S1 - those old tubers are bad@ss! Cheers, Mark

Mls1, nice bike. We need to go for a ride sometime! The guys at HCHD are top drawer for sure. It is the ONLY dealership that I just like hanging out in. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 194028.html? |

And one of the best, most knowledgeable parts guys around but then again, he just chimed in. A great contributor to BadWeb. Welcome aboard the 1125 board Mark. Ride "the high country" Bob (Message edited by bob_thompson on September 30, 2009) (Message edited by bob_thompson on September 30, 2009) |

Thanks everyone, put about 50 break in miles on it today even at the 6k rpm limit it is awesome! I thought my XB turned easier than my S1 but this is insane... Sweepers that felt ok at 50mph on the XB seem nothing now at 80mph on the 1125. Great job Buell this is the most fun I have ever had on a street bike and its just the beginning. Skinner I will definitely take you up on that ride soon. Too bad I have military reserve duty this weekend and out of town all of November. I hope we have a mild December again so I can enjoy the post break-in miles. |

Mls1, no problem and thanks for serving. It is hard to tell what winter will bring this year. I am usually riding into work every day till the middle of Nov. If we have a winter like this summer then we are in for a lot of snow. Watch the CBR section as some people do a lot of impromptu rides that are always fun. Ride Safe and have fun. |

Sweet new scoot. I really like the new mid fairings. I feel your pain on the military duty while fun stuff is going on. It seems like very time there is something cool it falls on drill weekend. |

Thanks XB and Skinner. Yep, and the best weather you will have all month always falls on drill. Oh well two years and I can retire! But I do love serving and have zero regrets. |

You are killing me. I am sooo tempted to add an 1125CR with the high bars to our stall. I've got my hubby actually thinking of letting me do it. Will probably wait until the 2010's come out. And...will keep the Scg, I love that bike. When, Dan, my sweetpea, saw your post about cornering at 80mph he said "uh oh!!How much faster will she go around the corners with the CR?" Beautiful bike and like Frank said, thanks for your service. |

Jumpinjewels, I had an XB12scg that I traded for the 1125R. I bought an XB9R last year to get used to sport bike style ergo's compared to my S1 and grew to love the fit then I rode an 1125 and knew I had to have one, after deciding to hold off a bit on the 1125. I thought a 12 would satisfy me until I could get an 1125 and I just could not get over the 1125 so I only rode the 12 for a few months. With the great deal and care the HC Buell guys gave me I took the plunge and cannot be any happier. When I am not riding it I am thinking about it or I find myself just staring at it! Even the anti-Buell establishment admits this is the most fun bike you can own and I agree 100%. Go for it, Dave and the guys will take good care of you! Cheers, Mark |

Also, I hear ya on wanting to keep the XB. I have owned a 1996 S1 for many years now and wouldn't part with it for anything. Those air cooled Sportser lumps with Erik's treatment are a treat to all of the senses. Plus they epitomize the core of what a Hooligan Bike should be!

Well, still have my XB9SX right next to the 1125R. Just the future wife rides that XB now. I still get a big grin when I ride it through. |

When I am not riding it I am thinking about it or I find myself just staring at it! Don't expect that feeling to go away any time soon Mark! After 21 months and 22K miles I still feel the same way. I was away on a 10 day business trip recently and the second thing I did when I got home(after hugging my wife) was to check up on my 1125R. I rode it the next day and the feeling of excitement I had when I first bought it is as strong today as on day one. On edit: Seem like you have the same collection as I do! 96S1, XB9R and the 1125R. Yep, I can't let go of the older Buells either (Message edited by doerman on October 02, 2009) |

Mark, Thanks for the kind words. And don't hold back spreading them. We will earn all the sales we can get from people sent our way. Watch for more sport bike nites in 2010, and a race night when the Daytona 200 is aired too. ~jammer aka. Dave cycle therapist and Buell adventurist ps. orange is the more adventurous color |

Let me please add to this much deserved and well earned conversation. I purchased my 1125CR from Bones and Dave at HC Buell recently and was able to talk my friends Steve (09 1125R) and Doug (09 XB12XT) to purchase as well. Each of us had an outstanding experience and look forward to the years of great relations to come. The team at HC Buell is the gold standard for all things Buell! If there were an award for the Best Buell Dealer, these guys would easily take the competition. Thanks again for a great buying experience!
