Thinking of getting a slightly used 2007 XB12STT. It was previously bought as a leftover so 2 yr warranty is still in effect-should be no problem/cost to transfer warranty to new owner right? Besides lower handlebars, is seating position same as other lightnings (seat/peg relationship)? Not that it's a factor, but out of curiosity, do these require regular or premium fuel? Since STT was limited production, any STT specific parts I'll have trouble obtaining in the future? Thanks in advance |

Sweet!

No problem at all!

It uses the same handlebar and foot peg egros as all the other Lightnings. The STT has the same handlebar as the XB9SX.

Premium, but I have ran mine on regular during the gas shortage a year ago with no pinging issues.

Nope. In fact, the 2009 and newer XB12SS is really the STT but with different plastics. The STT and 06-08SS share the same frame, motor, and just about everything except suspensions. Now the 09SS has the old STT suspension.

No problem! Oh yea, Buell's are often called Lego bikes, because of how interchangeable they are. You can turn the STT into a Ulysses with little effort |
