I have to make a post on my 2006 uly this is the bike that started out sounding like a popcorn popper ..it is now 7500 miles latter no problem better than great get 53 mile a gallon doing 70 mph ...still have stock wheel bearing rear tire is just needing replacement dunlop 616 it been a good tire \thinking michelin pilot roads or the newer pilot roads 2 any advice on tires |

If you are street riding the Michelin Pilot Road II's are excellent! They handle very well, the dual compound has allowed me to go nearly twice as many miles as the D616 and the Scorpion Syncs for about 20 percent more initial cost. That doesn't take into account the additional savings on mounting and balancing about half as often. On the rears I got 6000 on the syncs and the same on the D616, the first Michelin Pilot Road II went 11,000. I have done dirt roads no problem, they are excellent in the rain on the road, but not dirt or grass when wet. |
