I had a new tire pit on the rear awhile back and just noticed today the left side axle adj. bolt is loose. You cant pull it off but you can move it with your fingers. The belt side is tight. This is prolly a biginners question, but ive only dealt with chains. So Im guessing this bolt should not be able to move freely? |

It just means the axle is not backed up against it, measure the distance from the front of the slot on both sides to determine if it needs to be moved, or if the adjuster has just come loose or was left loose when the tire was installed... |

Measure the distance between the axle block and the slot in the swingarm with a dial caliper if you have one. Make sure the distance is the same on both sides. Then using a shop rag to jam between the belt and the pulley to make sure the axle blocks are tight against the adjuster bolts before tightening the axle. |

Sounds like it just loosened up. Yes check that both sides are equal and if so just snug the bolt and adjuster up and ride. |
