I had a great race weekend at Blackhawk Farms last Saturday and Sunday. Buell Alley has been a little thin this season, though. Who's coming to the September Double Points race? I'll be there! I'm really crossin my fingers that I'll be able to race. But regardless, we'll be there. Ralph, that looked like one hell of a ride you took in August! I'm thinkin it must have scared you into forming a suction cup with your rear end, because I still don't know how you managed to stay on the bike!  No hands and no feet! That's impressive! Thanks Joel! I'm a long way from your lap times but I'm really pleased that I'm improving and gaining more confidence. Ben, I have to be honest, I really thought I was just loosening my grip on the bars as I watched the crash unfolding in front of me but obviously my brain was saying, "Get off the bike!" It all happened so fast that even I couln't believe the photos that the Gron4 guys took!! Hope to see both you and Rocco again in September. Troy and I will both be there. | ||

Hi all, I'm new to the racing scene and am planning on being there for my 1st race on my 1125R. Looks like one hell of a ride last round Ralph, missed it had to be at a wedding but was there Friday to sit around in the rain. I'm also planning to be there on 9/2 and 9/23. I was at Blackhawk for NESBA over the weekend and my bike wouldn't shift into 4th gear, not sure if I will make it now... | ||

Fellas, thinking of going as a spectator. Is this worth the ride from Aurora IL? Also, I'd be willing to help out any Buell racers that might need a hand. One of the guys from the Chicago sportbike forum says Erik will be there on Saturday. | ||

Dave and I believe Mike(?) Stone are playing Saturday night for the Red Flag Fund Auction, and Erik is a friend of theirs and has played at Blackhawk before. It's in a large pavilion, so if it rains, they'll probably still play. It would be nice to have more Buellers at the races. I can always use a hand, and I know this will be a race debut race weekend for 2 more Buell racers. Come on up, it's a good time. I'll be a Buell pit crew/mechanic for hire this weekend. (Don't worry, I work for free!  ) Unfortunately, I'm not racing the last round, but I'll be there for anyone that needs help. I'm really looking forward to seeing some of the people I haven't seen in a while! I'm bringing my wife and two girls along, and I know they're excited too.
