Thank you guys for the support!!! Like Mike said, I went racing with a near stock Buell (belt drive and all) with the hopes of just staying on the track and MAYBE getting a podium or 2... Never even thought about a Championship. The 2 classes were Heavyweight Twins Superstock and Light weight Twins Superbike! Many thanks to all that helped and supported!! Go Buell Racing! P.S. I will get an invite to the WERA Nationals where I will have a shot at a National Title!!! Unfortunately, it looks like I will not be able to make it. The unplanned purchase of a new house A/C sucked up any reserve budget I had. |

I'm digging begging and pleading to get us there. As I always done, I'll do my best to make it happen. I have to get the school to allow me to take my exams a week early to get a free week to do this. That was step one; now to find the cash to go. Its not to late just yet. We have 30 days to come up with it and be there before registration ends. (Message edited by xoptimizedrsx on September 21, 2009) |

The new grass section. LOL! Not really, the track is there, the camera angle is just flat.

Coming to the line at the halfway point of the Solo 20 race. The expert Duc rider (waving at the camera) later passed me. He was suprised with the corner speed of the Buell.

OUTSTANDING!! Of course this comes as no surprise to those Buelligans who have seen Laird tear up Suches on his old tuber. Am I right, my brothers?

Laird, Hampton Road Racing would be proud to send some "sponsorship" funding your way to make Nationals happen- I'll help any way I can. |

Second good news for us. I get to take a final exam in one class and a test in another at school a few days early. This will free me up for the week to leave out Wednesday afternoon by 3:30. I have the black bike (xb9) ready and waiting with spare parts sprockets and ect. Any and all who want to join in let us know we will do our best to make Erik himself as well as any bueller Proud. Everyone is welcome. Go race Win. Paint? You want a chain drive on the red bike for Atlanta? I can switch it down a tooth for a speed increase. Any more of a ratio change on that bike will be too much, it would run bogged down actually lose speed. |
