Hey guys i set up my suspension on my XB9s today and everything is tip top and awsome. it handles like a dream. however when i went to set up a buddies 1125 CR, i got threw everything but the Fork Preload. it says to set it till theres 6 lines visible for under 170 lbs. however its not the same set up in that area as my XB. WHAT DO I DO? How do i back off the preload nut so i can see the 6 lines? which nut is the preload nut, red or the big black nut?

You should ask your friend to show you his Owners Manual. The info is in there. Or look on the Buell website to download that info from the appropriate online manual.

The colored nut is preload. No lines will show. The forks and preload adjustment procedures are different on 1125 models.

FYI I just had my CR set up at Wheelers and he had a hard time getting the sag set right for my weight. I am 190 and running almost no preload in the front to get the right sag. With the upright bars there is almost no weight on the bars.
