You have triggered my laugh reflex and response mechanism! You spend $3000.00 on farkles for the Uly, You buy an extra bike and carry the extra expenses of insurances and registrations, taxes etc. and your life goal is to squeeze a few cents more out of a gallon of gas?! Is perhaps, that where the funding for the farkles initiates? I know you are working on your green footprint, and planning for the end of fossil fuels, but when you look at the overall big picture.....do you really have to ride anywhere at all? |

Sense you make not! I shall not hear any more of your mindless rubbish! Remind me to show you my fuel log at Buelltoberfest. Oh, and the Blast only added about $500 to my insurance bill. I might end up selling the Uly after I am done fixing it, I don't need it anymore as the Blast is my commuter and my CR is the fun bike. |

I have managed to get about 46-49 mpg on my 07 Uly and that is with (what I think anyway) is a fair amount of off-road miles. I put 62 miles daily on it here in AZ. I try at least once a week to ride the whole way home on farm/dirt/gravel roads. These include a few sandy culvert under I-8. For the record the Uly is my first bike and as one of my co-workers (who rides a V-Strom) said, "any bike is a starter bike just don't turn the right handle all at once." |

I do wish however for more fuel capacity, it is my one true gripe. |
