I´m going to make a slip on type exhaust to my 1125R. Have anyone tested equal length headers in 1125R? I measured the original headers and the front one is about half of the length of the rear one. This combination works, but equal length headers should give more power. |

When a collector is used, the tube to tube length can be as much as 5" different without affecting power (torque or horse power). These figures are good when working with a 4, 8 and 12 cylinder engine. I see no reason why it wouldn't be the same for a twin. Now if each of the header tubes is separate, no collector, then each tube needs to be the same length. Mike |

Hi Rob! I have had my R about two month. It´s a -08 model. The R is a fine bike, but it needs some cosmetic & performance modifications. |
