Hello All. Now that I have my Comfort Kit on the way from American Sport Bike, I'm looking to purchase/install a computer on my 08 XT. After looking around for a while, it looks like the Vapor Stealth might be the one. Does anyone have experience with installing one on a Uly, or thinks this may be a bad idea? Thanks in advance for the help. Russ |

There is better out there. I use the Veypor VR2 http://www.veypor.com/index.html An old thread discussing it: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/445127.html |

Thanks very much for the replies. Froggy, yeah, I think I'm going to go with the VR2 also. I liked the look of the Vapor, but the VR2 looks more functional. Just hope I don't electrocute myself during the install... Or worse yet, nuke my XT. |

I've lost count of how many times I have shorted something or gotten my bike caught on fire, I think you will be fine! Only weakness of the VR2 is that its not waterproof. It can take a mild or moderate rain fine, but a downpour and its toast till it drys out. Mine will once in a while bug out even when dry now. |

Actually the other day I stripped off some of your electrical tape so I can dig in and remove some goodies, lets just say the positive battery lead puts on an interesting show when it gets close to the seat rails Ive been bouncing between the Blast and CR depending on my mood |
