We are getting ready for our first race next month and really would like to do a suspension upgrade before, but on a limited budget only have the cash for either the front forks or the rear shock. We have been able to tune the bike to make stupid power so far and with that means lots of wheel lift during acceleration. We would love to get both the front and rear kit offered in the Buell catalog but with South Africa adding 50% VAT onto parts somethings get out of reach fast. |

How much power is the bike putting down? And what software are you using? I say, you smuggle the suspension parts. |

heheh that is what we are doing at the moment but only a limited bunch of friends making the US to SA trip during the year. We went from 138.2 hp to 141.8 hp @ 5700ft above sea level. This is all with a exhaust we made and a Aprilia tune on the stock ECM. We put the bike and pilot on a diet, and last weekends track times at Kyalami put us in the middle of the Ducati pack. BTW we are the first and only Buell to take on the Ducks in BoTT in SA |
