Sorry to hear that Gowindward, CCryder that must have been a very fast ride to try and get home. I must say, as a kid I was involved in one of these monsters and they have always fascinated me, but the picture at Bumpus just kind of shows us how small we really are. That thing is HUGE! | ||

Yeah we were in the Civic and had just left the Honda Dealer after seeing the radar show that this was forming. I watched the wall of rain/ hail trying to catch us. I used the shoulder of the road and every "pale green" light to "get-out-of-Dodge" that day. We got home about 30 mins later and watched the replay on TV. It was pretty UGLY and we missed it! I can only imagine how the rest of the Bumpus staff felt as they watched it miss them by a few blocks. Later | ||
