get the back tire off the ground. loosen the pinch bolt. remove axle. remove wheel. done. edit: i think i may have finally figured out why some of you have to remove the rear caliper to get the wheel off. only reason i can think of is if you still have the belt guards on, it may not allow you enough room to slide the wheel past the caliper. glad i dont have that problem! |

From CCRyder 1) Remove top and bottom belt guards. 2) Remove 2 bolts hold rear caliper and nest in swingarm recess. 3) Loosen/ remove pinch bolt 4) Support bike off of rear wheel 5) Support rear wheel (wood block) 6) Remove left handed rear axle 7) Heat right side of swingarm to loosen frozen threads. 8) Now remove axle. 9) Roll rear wheel slightly forward and remove belt and remove wheel. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=290431&post=1553975#POST1553975 |
